About Us

D Fish House on Wheels was founded by Chris & Rebecca Grubbs with a simple dream of selling hot, delicious fish plates. Located in Dothan, Ala., they provide great food with excellent customer service and consistency.

Chris, Rebecca, and her sisters have been working in the food industry for more than 25 years, managing restaurants and even helping to open eateries. To say that they love the food industry is an understatement. They gave their hearts to their customers and the people they worked for.

The couple decided to branch out on their own in 2016. Chris and Rebecca started with a couple of fryers to cook up fish plates, but their desire to create something bigger to keep them busy during retirement led them to the food truck.

The business has grown into a family affair with Rebecca's sisters chipping in and helping run the business, especially when the couple books large events. 

For years, they have been serving up customer favorites like hot catfish dinners, shrimp po boy and delicious chili dogs. 

The family takes pride in everything they do so you can count on a hot, fresh plate of food when you visit them. 

Although the family has met challenges along the way, they've discovered that a hot delicious meal touches the heart every time!
